What we Do

The Computer Club
For half an hour, each child has the use of their own laptop allowing them to progress at their own pace. Our tutors encourage children’s budding skills with a lot of practice until they can confidently navigate programmes. We select the best pre-school software, from companies like Sherston, Dorling Kindersley and 2Simple, to complement the topics in your day-to-day lessons

The Logimen Have Arrived!

We are very pleased to announce the arrival of the amazing Logiblocs electronic discovery system for children. Technotots has linked up with the smart people at Logiblocs and we are including these extraordinary resource as part of our ICT toys.

Welcome On Board...

To Michaela, her staff and children at Blue House Day Nursery, Croydon. Technotots has just completed its first half- term at Blue House Nursery, and what a delightful bunch of characters they have there! After the usual chaotic excitement that marks the begining of a new Technotots session, the children have settled down to some hard work on their laptops. We are now ready to unleash the interactive progammeable toys and equipment on them; including the mighty Wrex The Dawg!!!

We're also very pleased to welcome on board the West Dulwich Nursery from the Teddies group - now part of Bright Horizons Family Solutions. Located in a former "Baptist Church" on Gipsy Road, Kathleen and Richard decided to introduce Technotots computer club to the children at Teddies to support their ICT activities. Among the children's favourite is Roborover and the digital voice changer! Sessions can get noisy at times, but they're always fun. Technotots sessions are currently on Friday mornings.

In September 2010, Technotots will be starting sessions in two new - and one not so new - locations. Lanesborough School in Guildford is adding Technotots computer club as an extracurricular activity for its Pre- Prep school children.

After booking an initial free Technotots session for its children, the tiny but cheerful Country Mice Playgroup in Cowfold, West Sussex has joined the club. In June Natalie, the manager, requested a half-hour trial session to see Technotots in action.The result was conclusive; the half-hour trial session quickly turned into an hour of chaotic fun as the children transformed their hall into an ICT circuit training area!

Finally, we are very pleased to welcome back an old friend. Timbers Day Nursery (Asquiths Nurseries) in Haslemere, Surrey was one of the first members of Technotots Computer Club. We fulfilled their ICT requirements for 2 years until a change in group policy. But Sandra wants us back, and the children in Timbers can once again enjoy the benefits our full ICT service from September onwards.

Yes, Spot the dog is 30 years old this year! And to celebrate this milestone Spot's official website is releasing a special DVD, a new book to add to the collection of old favourites as well soft toys.
